Back into it

Work's been really hard lately and when I get home all I've done is to crash in bed so I haven't had time to really make anything.  but anyway the busy phase is over for the next three months, or two months, so I'll have some time to put stuff up ... :)

Thanks for stopping by:)

031008 - Helen (not for sale)

I made this for a colleague of mine who requested a pair of matching earrings with her lovely necklace .
The hooks are 14K gold. The deep rich purple stone chips give a royal tone to the whole ensemble. The pearls used are Swarovski and framed on either end with a delicate bead cap.
If I manage to I will take a picture of the necklace together with the earrings.
I like!!

021008 - Autumn Necklace, S$50.00

I love the contrast of colours that this necklace makes!

The mish-mash of colours - yellow, green, red and gold highlights on the focal heart and accompanying clay beads imported from Europe are set off against the brown shimmery sandstone ovals.  The tiny gold beads from Italy in between highlight the hide-and-seek gold in the sandstone and the clay beads.  An antique gold heart-shaped catch matches the focal.

011008 - Celtic Lady, S$10.00

This pair is simple in its design, but the intricate carving of the antique gold squares (double sided) above the natural white stones provide an interesting contrast and add depth to this lovely pair of earrings.

Jan ...

This is one of the few necklaces that I did over the weekend ... I don't really do necklaces because I don't really wear them, but I've had those focal clay beads for awhile and I was wracking my brains over how to match them .. then i saw these lovely white stone beads and I just had to put them together!!
The white stone beads have a cat eye-like sheen to them, and matched with the gold beads in between, it adds a touch of elegance to the whole picture. The gold brings out the gold highlights in the clay focals imported from Europe. The focal beads are off-centre, and not quite where one would expect them to be, on purpose. Wouldn't want to be too run-of-the-mill now, would we?
Named after my really elegant friend, Jan! :)
Length : 51 cm

Blue heart handphone charm, S$10.00

I made this for two friends who were in town visiting.

The focal point of this handphone charm is the imported polymer clay bead from the Middle East.  They both like blue and white, so this is the perfect combination.  The pearls set off the predominantly blue beads.  One is braced with silver beads from Japan and the other is with baby pearls.  The strap is a pleasant baby blue.

Available in other colours.

Cerise Handphone Charm, S$13.00 (sold)

This lovely handphone pendulum is made of cerise pearls, crystals, pearls, with the central focus being a clay flower. Gold and cerise seem to go very well - a very gurly gurl accessory. :)
Similar remakes possible but not identical.

English Handphone Charm

I made this for a friend's belated birthday ...Have known her for many years so I put a 'made with love' charm in as well.
The focal bead is polymer clay from a friend (see Beads, beads, beads) see if you can find it in the picture! This is my favourite bead of the whole lot because it reminds me of an english tea garden party ... blue skies and red roses ... :)

Beads, beads, beads!

A friend of mine sent these beads to me to help me along in my new business.  I hope I can use them to create more pretty stuff soon! :)

Wedding Couple, S$65.00

I made this for a couple of friends who got married in Holland two weeks ago.

This makes a very good present for friends getting married. It can be a keychain, or handphone charm, though it probably would be best as a figurine. The keychain would extend from the loops at the head.
For those of you who think this is expensive, please understand that a lot of effort has gone into making this :)
[Gift boxes/pouches are available, at a small additional fee.]

Green garden, S$15.00

Just one of the few I've been making but not posting online ... heh ...
This Green Garden made with antique metal components.  The focal is the polymer clay pillow imported from the US, with a pale pastel grene setting and pale yellow and brown flowers.  A rather unusual combination of colours that will stand out especially on dark coloured hair.

Only one piece available!!

360708 - Pink Tulip, S$29.90

This is the same design as the red tulip in the previous post, for those who are pink lovers!! Sorry that the picture is not so well taken, the leaf is a bit curled up. For a better look at this, check out the red tulip.

Available in Blue as well. For other customisation of colours, drop me an email!

350708 - Orange/Red Tulip, S$29.90

My favourite handphone charm of all, this tulip is extremely versatile. I can customise it to be a bag charm (which is what it was originally supposed to be), a handphone charm or just an accessory to display - you can hang it on a window to catch the sunlight, for example. The effect is lovely.

This particular tulip has a "Made with Love" charm, with a red jewel to match the overall effect of the tulip. A must-have!!

This is a bit pricier than usual because of the effort involved in making it. But I may give you an overall discount if you buy other items, so do look around!

340708 - Ocean Angel Keychain, S$18.90

This ocean angel keychain is one of my favourites. Made with blue wings, its gown is made of turquoise crystals and has gold trim to top it off. It comes with a keychain clasp, of course, but that's not visible in the picture.

One of my favourite combinations.

330708 - Angel Keychain, S$19.90

Many people like this angel, because it's big and it's rather distinctive. This particular angel is made with an orangey red, with silver wings to complement it. For those who prefer not to have too many colours on their angel, this is for you.

320708 - Rose Pillow, S$17.90

This pair has gold accents.  The focus is the pink rose pillow, and the shell square disc mirrors the shape of the pillow.
A very nice pair for going out.

310708 - Blue heart handphone charm

This special piece was a customisation that I did for my mum.  She wanted something to give to her colleague.
The blue heart that is the focus of this piece is imported from the Middle East, and it's accompanied by various flowers (charms and crystals).
It's not too heavy so it won't unbalance your phone when it dangles.

Remakes (though not exactly the same) are available in different colours.  Please email me for more details! :)

280708 - Lavender Flower Bracelet, $35.00

This is a variation of the white flower bracelet.  I made this for a colleague who was going to a wedding and wanted something to match her purple dress.

Clay flowers are the focus of this lovely bracelet, with white seed beads, crystals and cat's eye to complement them.  A very spring/summer type colour combination.

Remakes possible, and in different colours.

290708 - White flower bracelet, S$35.00

Here's a bracelet I made to attend a friend's wedding.  Made of cat's eyes, crystals, seed beads from Japan and clay flowers, this piece is a suitable accompaniment for most pastel coloured dresses.

Remakes possible, in different colours as well.

300708 - Purple wall (not for sale)

These were a pair that I made for a colleague who was attending a wedding as a bridesmaid. Purple clay flowers are the centre of this piece, accompanied by white Swarovski pearls and white cat's eyes.
The metal settings are silver-toned.  Looks very antique to me!

Remakes may be possible (email me for enquiries).

250708 - Pink doves, $16.90

My effort to support local industry, I've bought this pair of clay doves locally.

For this pair I used real silver French hooks for the earrings, and matched it with white pearls.  I don't know why, I just like pairing birds with pearls.  Maybe because they look like they're carrying something in mid flight.

Only one pair available.

260708 - Golden Brown Ring, S$45.00

This photo doesn't do the actual ring justice.  It's a lot more shiny than that!
Crystals are woven to wrap around the centrepiece, which is a huge Swarovski crystal as well, in the same colour.  Very dressy, this piece.

This ring is available in a few more colours and combinations.  It can be done as a pendant too.

240708 - Purple swirls (not for sale)

My favourite pair of all time, this is a pair of lovely earrings with purple/green polymer clay beads from oversease as the focus, balanced with a pair of Swarovski pearls.  The metal components are gold and add to the overall elelgance of the piece.  This is suitable for work and play.

Similar designs with polymer clay beads of other colours are available.

230708 - Pink Marble, S$18.90

The polymer clay pink marbled pillow is imported from Europe, and one of my first attempts at wireworks. Perfect for an added dimension to your outfit.

One of my favourites!! Only one set available.

220708 - Summer Fun Bracelet, S$21.90

Made with gold charms and orange/red polymer beads by Ade, an extremely talented local artist, this fun bracelet is perfect for weekends, or just to spice up your outfit! It's simple and not cluttered, so you won't find it catching or snagging on much.

210708 - More handphone angels!! S$12.00

Handphone charms - angel shaped!!
Clockwise from top left: Red/white combination; Blue/lilac combination; purple/blue combination; Green/amber combination.

200708 - Pink Pendulums, S$13.90 (sold)

190708 - Brown Treasures, S$12.90

180708 - Jewelled Eggs, S$17.90

Like eggs wrapped with a silver band, this elegant piece is ideal for dinners or a night out.

170708 - Indian Eiffel, S$16.90

160708 - Orange Spring Morning, S$12.90

Classic pattern, very sweet!

150708 - Flower Tea, S$16.90

Why the funny name?  This reminds me of chrysanthemum flowers dried up in a package, the traditional way, before it's taken out to make tea ... The focal bead is made up of polymer clay.

140708 - Jade Dewdrops, S$16.90

130708 - Purple Dewdrops, S$13.90

120708 - Red Cherry, S$13.90

This red Czech bead complements the antique metal setting extremely well.  Elegant, ideal for work and going out.

110708 - Blue Fun! S$13.90

The blue version of the previous paid, Blue Fun is a choice for those who prefer blue.  It looks better than in the picture, with its pale blue making it look like porcelain.

100708 - Red Fun, S$13.90

With a red porcelain bead as the focal, this pair is for fun days, or to add a dash of colour to your daily ensemble.

090708 - Spring Night, S$16.90

The name is self-explanatory!

080708 - Peranakan Memories, S$18.90

The polymer clay pillow is the focus of this lovely pair.  The pattern reminds me of Peranakan shophouse tiles in the Joo Chiat/Katong area.  The amber, pink and transparent crystals were chosen to complement the unusual combination of colours on the focal beads.

070708 - Flower Marble, S$16.90 (sold)

This is one of my favourites.  The marbled brown flowers you see in this picture are very much a part of the polymer clay bead, a new material I'm working with.  If I have time I will take another picture of this, the black background doesn't do it justice.

The gold-coloured metal I've used with this set brings out the brown tones in the bead.  Love this!!

Only one set available.

060708 - Blue Rose Ball, S$12.90

A very simple pair, just a lone tensha bead.  For those who like bright coloured earrings but don't want the fuss of long dangly earrings, this is for you.

050708 - Golden Rose, S$15.90

This is a striking colour combination of brown, red/pink and gold.  Very elegant.  Suitable for work and play!  Not too dramatic, great for a night out to dinner as well.

040708 - Porcelain Blue Rose, S$15.90

The gold highlights on the tensha bead below complement the gold pearl above it.  The colour combination on this pair is elegant, goes very well with dresses or just jeans!!

030708 - Brown Fun, S$15.90

Number 3 in the shell pearl series, this simple pair is perfect for work and play. This particular pair comes with brown flowers, but other colours are available. Drop me an email if you are interested!

020708 - Silvery Autumn, S$15.90

Another item in the series of painted shell pearls. This one is silver with white flowers. Has a cool autumny feel to it. The white pearls above it complement the white flowers in the silver pearls ...

010708 - Cornflower Blue, S$15.90

Here goes ... the first pair from my new stock. I made most of these for the sale, but remakes may still be available.

A simple pair made with painted shell pearls and Swarovski crystals.
